So you want to custom build a Chopper? I also then have the first question I asked myself, is where I begin. I know a business plan, a program, a financial statement, or should I just buy some flowers to proceed for my wife and blind? I think I should all the above, but not necessarily in that order.
I will try to do this by buying and effort that I start to justify a list of my reasons? 1) I want a custom chopper, a fully extended, Firebreathing eat, drive a gas, pavement pounding, old fears, two wheeled monsters. 2) I want to be able to say, “I built that” if someone asks me where I totally sick bike. 3) I want to be able to customize the bike via the standard add on parts can I get my bike now is a Harley Davidson Fatboy. 4) I want to be able to make this dream come true, or will I be able to pay for it. A helicopter is $ 35,000 out of my current budget. 5) I have said for five years, so why don ‘t I get it and stop all talk and start doing some construction work.
Now I have some reasons in a paper looking at my options, then make a plan, program, and find extra money.
Let’s start’s to build with my opportunities, and is planning a slow and steady approach. I know I have a lot of research before you start to do. I have four basic options, Kit Bikes, an evolutionary framework to start from scratch to build, or an Extreme Makeover of the bike today.
Option 1) If I set a bike I might continue to start before the mechanical point of view, the most distant and behind a financial standpoint. What I say is different than a motorcycle kit has all the parts you need only paint labor, gas, oil and a little love. The problem of bike-complete-set cost me $ 12,000 dollars in the beginning. This is a bit out of my spending a ton of money now, not in a position to think of driving a bike for a year or two. When can I start a game might be achieved more quickly, as I will be motivated and have all the parts ready to go. The first bike I think this is a very good option if you make the expensive mistakes that can along this path. The disadvantage of this option is the amount of the adjustment that I can to do the bicycle, as it is, together. Since all parts are in the package, I can not resist the urge new bars different plates or other parts to get.
Option 2) Start with a rolling chassis, this is the middle of the road option to spend a sum of money, about half what the bike will have a total cost and get a basic configuration that all work together.
Rolling Chassis Kit consists of a frame, two wheels, forks and triple clamps and bars, all of which are built and configured to work together. Add a motor and a gearbox, and all the important work of the motorcycle are available. This configuration helps some of the most important works, which fit together to mix and match to avoid these elements. This option also allows for a ton of adapting parts that we come from and the parts that he give the bike character. “For me, this is to consider a very serious option. I would have only half the cost and half the seats and gather dust until I have time to get together.
Option 3) Find out the part of each individual and create a completely custom bikes. I know I could do it, but I also know that I am most unexpected and potentially costly to find problems with this type of construction. This option would give me a bike that no one will ever duplicate. This can be very good, or this could be very bad. And if some of the possible combinations of the motor frame, forks, wheels, or didn t work “together? It would not be discovered until the bike was all the time. I think this option is better for serious professional bicycle left the building overnight, how they work on other peoples bikes and running a business in the course of the day. I think this is my second custom chopper.
Option 4) Take an existing bike and start chopping and changing it. This is perhaps not as pronounced as the cutting and sewing of the new framework for a new angle and create involved. Or it may mean just a new framework and with the engine, transmission and many others to a new machine build. I like this idea, and I think it would be a cost effective alternative for all new custom pieces. This option is also able to obtain the current registration and title, the picture is not replaced. This is also an inexpensive option, because many different parts can be reused.
I know that a page can be built in which all possible combinations of Custom Chopper ‘t will be fully explained, I hope this information will give you something to start and build. He has helped me on an evolutionary framework, so I better go shopping.
